Precimeasure
Website design and development for an industrial manufacturer, combining a catalogue of 50+ products with clear navigation and interactive visual storytelling.
Overview Precimeasure manufactures protection and monitoring instruments for transformers and electrical infrastructure. I designed and developed its website to present the company’s technical capabilities, manufacturing expertise, and extensive product range through a cohesive digital experience.
Design approach The design balances an established industrial identity with a contemporary visual language. Structured layouts, clear typography, and a blue-led palette bring consistency across the site, while imagery of products, facilities, and infrastructure gives context to the company’s work. The homepage introduces the business through its solutions, manufacturing capabilities, partnerships, and industry insights.
Motion and interaction I introduced animation in the hero section and a homepage element that rotates as visitors scroll. These interactions add movement to the experience while keeping the company’s products and information central to the page.
Interactive company timeline An instrument-inspired timeline brings Precimeasure’s history to life. Dragging the dial’s pointer selects a year and reveals the corresponding milestone. A rolling year display, automatic playback, and navigation controls offer different ways to explore the company’s journey.
The design takes its cues from Precimeasure’s measurement instruments, extending the company’s identity into the interaction itself.
Product discovery A central requirement was presenting a catalogue of more than 50 products. I organised the product experience around clear navigation and consistent layouts, making the range easier to explore and giving technical information a defined place within each page.
Development I carried the project from UI/UX design through website development, implementing the page layouts, product catalogue, and interactive elements. Working across both stages allowed me to maintain consistency between the visual design and the functioning website.
